Clinical Psychologist
As Viktor Frankl once said, “The meaning of life is love.” While that may sound simple, truly loving and allowing yourself to be loved can be one of life’s most profound—and complicated—journeys. I believe that people are resilient and layered, and that the same beliefs that shape our strengths often lie at the root of our inner struggles.

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist originally from the East Coast, with a doctorate in psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia. Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked with a diverse range of adults and couples across the lifespan. My approach is collaborative, warm, and holistic. I believe in meeting you where you are, considering the full context of your life—your history, values, relationships, and strengths—to help support meaningful and lasting change.
My Approach to Therapy
I approach emotional wellbeing much like physical health: it takes intentionality and consistency. As your therapist, my role is to support you in building awareness and accountability so you can identify what resolution and balance look like for you. Change is hard—and I’ll meet you where you are, helping you move toward a more grounded, meaningful life.
People describe me as caring, reliable, and authentic—qualities I bring into every session to create a safe, collaborative space for growth.

My therapeutic approach is also shaped by years of leadership in the field of psychology, including my work as Executive Director of a statewide mental health clinic and as Clinical Director for an APA-accredited internship program. These roles have sharpened my skills in collaboration, integrity, and self-awareness—all of which I consider essential in the therapy room. They’ve also given me a deep well of experience to draw from, allowing me to support clients with clarity, adaptability, and compassion.
Who I Work With
I work with adults from all walks of life, but I find especially strong connections with high-achieving professionals—physicians, therapists, attorneys, executives, and academics—who are often balancing significant responsibilities with high internal expectations. I also work with couples, parents, and individuals navigating identity, relationships, and transitions. While I have advanced training in supporting women, I also enjoy working with men and individuals who identify as nonbinary.
What I Help With
Clients come to me seeking support with:

-
Anxiety and stress
-
High-functioning depression
-
Perfectionism and burnout
-
Trauma and PTSD
-
Life transitions
-
Relationship and intimacy concerns
-
Work-life balance
-
Communication and conflict
-
Identity and self-worth
It’s worth noting that therapy is not only for people in crisis. Many clients I work with are seeking greater clarity, growth, or alignment in their lives and relationships. You don’t need a diagnosis to benefit from the insight, support, and healing that therapy can offer.
While I work with a broad range of issues, I do not treat eating disorders, substance use disorders, or personality disorders, as these are outside my specialty.

Telehealth Availability
I’m licensed to practice virtually in over 40 states through PsyPact (APIT/E. Passport #20093). If you’re located in a participating state at the time of your session, we can meet from wherever feels safe and comfortable for you. Check out this map to view which states participate in PsyPact.
My Specialty Areas
Couples Therapy. Even the strongest relationships have moments of strain. I work with monogamous, LGBTQIA+, and non-traditional couples (including polyamorous or ethically non-monogamous partnerships) who want to deepen trust, improve communication, and navigate intimacy or infidelity with care. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method, I help couples understand negative patterns and replace them with more secure, attuned, and supportive ways of relating.

Women. Supporting women through all stages of life is deeply important to me. Whether navigating career transitions, motherhood, grief, identity shifts, or simply the quiet ache of disconnection, I offer a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your values and voice.
Trauma Recovery. I specialize in working with trauma and offer EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful, evidence-based modality that helps people heal from distressing life events and shift longstanding patterns rooted in fear or shame. EMDR helps loosen the grip of painful core beliefs while strengthening more adaptive, life-affirming ones.

High Achievers. Many of my clients are high-achieving individuals who look accomplished on the outside but feel anxious, empty, or stuck on the inside. Often, the same traits that fuel their success—like discipline, responsibility, or independence—also contribute to perfectionism, burnout, or emotional disconnection. Our work together focuses on helping you honor your drive while creating more space for authenticity, rest, and joy.
Summary of Training
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts, from Rutgers University in 2003. I then pursued further education in psychology and obtained a Master's Degree and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University in 2006 and 2009, respectively. I have trained and worked in a number of clinical settings including community mental health centers, private practice, residential treatment facilities, specialized outpatient clinics, community-based programs, corrections, and pharmaceutical research. I have provided individual, family, and couples therapy and psychological assessment across the lifespan as well as clinical supervision and consultation. I am trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing) to treat trauma, process painful events, and overcome blocks to performing well.
Theoretical Orientation
Although I generally operate from a Cognitive Behavioral framework, I believe a holistic approach is essential and integrate a number of interventions from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), Gottman couples work, and EMDR to facilitate meaningful change for my clients.
