Therapy That Meets You Where You Are.

My path to becoming a therapist began with a deep curiosity about how we relate to one another and how our inner worlds shape our lives. Over the years, I’ve been continually moved by the resilience and beauty I witness as people grow, heal, and reconnect with themselves and each other.

Life also brings disruption and uncertainty—its rhythms can be gentle one moment and intense the next. In those times, therapy can provide the steadiness we need. My role is to be a grounded, hopeful presence as you process, unlearn, and move toward greater peace.

Who I Work With

I work with women, men, and nonbinary individuals across many stages of life. Many of my clients are high-achieving, introspective people who are actively seeking growth and meaningful change. I especially enjoy supporting:

  • College students and young adults

  • Mental health professionals

  • High achievers, including medical professionals, educators, business leaders, and parents

  • New moms, dads, and non-gestational parents

  • Engaged couples seeking premarital counseling

  • Couples (including those who are monogamous, poly, open, and in ENM relationships)

What Therapy
With Me Feels Like

Clients describe me as compassionate, genuine, and easy to connect with. I bring warmth and steadiness to therapy, meeting you where you are while gently encouraging growth and new perspectives. Sessions may include practical tools for immediate stressors as well as deeper exploration of identity, relationships, and meaning.

I draw from EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, CBT, and solution-focused strategies, as well as humanistic and attachment-based approaches. This allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, so you feel both supported and empowered as you move forward.

What Clients Often Experience

Many clients come to me feeling anxious, depleted, or disconnected from themselves or loved ones. Together, we slow down, uncover what’s beneath the surface, and create new patterns that feel more supportive and sustainable.

  • Individuals often find relief from anxiety, trauma, or perinatal stressors, gaining steadiness and self-compassion.

  • Couples rediscover emotional and physical intimacy, learning how to break out of stuck cycles and rebuild trust.

  • High achievers learn to soften perfectionism, release guilt, and create space for both ambition and rest.

Over time, clients often describe feeling more grounded, connected, and clear about the life they want to build.

What I Help With

Areas of Focus:

  • Stress, burnout, and anxiety

  • Perinatal and postpartum challenges for mothers, fathers, and non-gestational parents

  • Depression, mood changes, and body image concerns

  • Relationship strain, conflict, and affair recovery

  • Sexual concerns and intimacy challenges

  • Trauma, grief, and identity transitions

Specialty Areas:

  • Trauma – Many of my clients come to therapy carrying the weight of past trauma. With EMDR, clients often find greater emotional safety and new ways of moving through life with connection and hope.

  • Couples Therapy – I support couples in rebuilding trust and restoring both emotional and sexual intimacy. Using EFT and the Gottman Method, we work to break out of stuck cycles and create a relationship that feels secure and resilient.

  • Perinatal Mental Health – I specialize in supporting parents through pregnancy and postpartum, helping them process identity shifts, overwhelm, or grief while rediscovering joy and presence.

  • High Achievers – I often work with clients who excel in demanding careers while also carrying the weight of family and personal responsibilities. Together, we untangle perfectionism, ease guilt, and create more space for self-compassion, authentic connection, and balance between achievement and wellbeing.

My Background

I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University and my BA in Psychology and Youth Leadership Development from Anderson University. During graduate school, I studied cultural bias in the media against transgender adults and microaggressions toward LGBTQ+ couples in therapy. I’ve worked in community mental health, provided counseling to adults of all ages, led psychoeducational groups, and taught a premarital counseling workshop. I have completed post-graduate training in EMDR, perinatal mental health, and sex therapy.
